Overview
Magic Leap 2 is an enterprise augmented-reality system built around a lightweight see-through headset connected to a separate compute pack. Its lightfield display, Dynamic Dimming, eye and hand tracking, spatial mapping and six-degree-of-freedom controller support interactive digital content while preserving awareness of the physical environment.
The Android AOSP-based platform supports OpenXR, Unity, Unreal Engine, WebXR, Vuforia and Android development workflows. Magic Leap states that the product is no longer for sale and that support and warranty for existing devices continue through 31 December 2027. Organisations maintaining deployments should validate application and OS versions, licensing, device management and replacement-stock requirements before purchase.

Magic Leap 2 runs an Android AOSP-based operating system. Development support includes OpenXR, Unity, Unreal Engine, WebXR, Vuforia and Android toolchains. Magic Leap Hub is available for Windows and macOS. Ethernet requires a compatible USB-C adapter, which is not included. Confirm application, OS, licence, mobile-device-management and regional requirements before deployment.
